Clever Poster

I've found
a very clever poster
about the oil spill.

'Using a water-soluble ink, we created these "leaking" posters for the Dogwood Initiative's No Tankers project, which endeavours to keep oil tankers out of BC's coastal waters.'

The design companies

In PPD class the tutor asked us to choose
five design companies
where we want to work.

For me,
the first company is named
TBWA
which is based on Paris.
The advertising of
the 'Absolut Vodka'
was the first one that I saw their work.
Since this vodka was made, TBWA was keep making an advertising of it.
And I really love the series of 'Absolut Vodka's advertising.
Always has a same concept.
Two words which starts with 'Absolut.'
And the shape of the bottle which is a symbol of this product.

And this company has many clients who wants an advertising,
I have many interest in advertising so I want to work in here
and work for the vodka and other clients like pepsi.

Second is
Kyouei Design
which is based in Japan.

i saw a waterclock made from here, and this was really interesting.
This company makes a product but
I really like this company's design.
It is really clean and unique and they have their own style.
If I can work in this company, I want to watch and share
the ideas with them.

Third one is
CHI&Partners.
I saw this advertising.
And this was really good image.
The best one is the little girl with her swimwear, and the colours in this image is
really relaxed like saturday.

And the forth one is
M&C Saatchi London.
I saw a poster in the underground
and this was really shocking.
At first I thought it was just a
picture of a person and have a interesting text
but when I saw this for few seconds more,
I realised this was actually a picture of a dead person.
It was really shocking.
But I thought this is really brilliant idea.
I love it.
Because, this has message needs a strong shocking image so
I think this is a good piece.

And the last company is
New York Magazine.

I like this cover work so I just choose this company,
but actually I couldn't find more company where I want to work.
Actually, most of the work which I like is a work from artists, not from an agency,
but I think I could search and when I get to know more agencies,
I can find lots of more good agencies where I want to work.

Anish Kapoor

It was soooo gooood weather to go out today :)
So I went to Hyde Park and walked through it.

At Serpentine gallery, there was an exhibition of Anish Kapoor's work.
It called 'TURNING THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN'.
Actually, in the gallery there was Klara Liden's work and Anish's work were
exhibited in Hyde park.
There were four works and all of them were near by Serpentine gallery.
As it was really good weather, I enjoyed walking around Hyde park and looking his work getting closer with peoples.

There were two 'sky mirror' and 'c-curve' and 'non-object'.

And my best was 'c-curve'.

If you see that at outside, it looks normal but if you go around and look inside you can see all of the world in upside down.
And almost all of the ages of the people really enjoyed this mirror.
Babies and parents and couples and grandparents were smiling and looking around that object.

It is until 13 march 2011 and Klara Liden's show is until 7 November.
If you have a chance, I recommend to walk around and enjoy those objects :)

The Circus

In Paul's class, we went to 'THE MUSEUM OF EVERYTHING', where is near at Chalk farm station.

This is a third exhibition they did, and this time they had many interest things.
Unfortunately, we were not allowed to take a photo in there so I don't have any picture of it. :(

They had many pieces of circus and discovered art and artefacts which belongs to Peter Blake.

When I went through the door, it was full tension of the circus. It was like I actually walked through in the circus tent, with all red and blue and white colours and little bit dark area with only some of lights and the mirrors which makes you look fat and funny :)
And after that, I met with a very unique people on some photographs. There were some tom thumbs and giant people and a woman who has a beard which name was Annie Jones, etc.
It was so unique and I really wished that I want to go and see that circus!

And the other thing really interested to me was on upstairs.
Whole of the room was full of animals.
There were a tiny dog which is only 16in, and a lamb with to head and a pig with only three legs and some rats who were acting like a human.. At first I thought these are not real, it was made by someone, but it wasn't! All of the animals was made by an actual living creature.
The lamb with two head was an actual A LAMB WITH A TWO HEAD!
It was so incredible and actually creepy.
But the best one was the rats whom were boxing.
This was so dynamic and all of their poses and facial expressions were so real!

At the first time, as the gallery was small, I thought it will not take time to see it, but I was there and reading all of the descriptions and looking all of the details of the objects.

It was so unique and creepy but I kind of like it.
And after this visit, I really want find and visit another small exhibitions.
